If you have a different question, please go to the official Twin Lakes Website: www.twinlakesclub.net. There seems to be a misconception that Twin Lakes has a facebook page - we do not. Our attorney advised against it when he came over to see our properties. Our President, along with two other board members, heard the conversation when he was asked about it. It isn't against SC law, however, it causes many problems within the HOA. He made the comment it was better to have a Website, which we do. We pay $550.00 per year and it is private and confidential. Before this Website was secured, the Board at that time discussed at great lengths how it should be set up. Also, before the Website, we had Nextdoor and it was a total disaster. A lot of misinformation was being posted and it kept our neighborhood in an uproar. What is being encouraged and is out there now has not been approved by any previous Boards. The people involved (who were asked by the Board at that time to not include the Twin Lakes Name) ignored the request and and did so anyway. We do have some present board members on this site. If a question is asked and they answer, per the attorney, they are answering for the entire Board and most like likely these board members aren't even aware of it. There's a liability risk involved. I am not on this site, do not want to be and am totally against it. If you have an attorney, you should take his legal advice. We pay for it.

 

We kindly ask that you not go to that site asking questions that concern Twin Lakes HOA. If you will go to the official website (under Contact Us, front page), someone will try to answer you as quickly as possible. These last six weeks are not the "norm".
